BUILDINGS & ARCHITECTURE

We began our project with a visit to Southampton, shooting around the city and exploring art galleries and exhibitions. I took an interest in the structures of the buildings and my second artist explored the idea of empty spaces. I decided to edit my images both practically and digitally to give them an aged quality. I experimented with layers, paint splattering, burning and tearing. Some of the images included on this section are scanned as I edited them practically so the quality isn’t as crisp.
